SO, WHAT IS IT?
Ever wanted to sit in the MILLIONAIRE hot seat, or walk away with the PRICE showcase? Well here's your chance! COME ON DOWN is a unique and hilarious show based on some of our favourite TV game shows. How about those CATCH PHRASES? Wait until you see ours! And to top off the event, we will be crowning our very own AUSSIE IDOL! Sounds like fun? You bet it is!
AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Together Paul and Bill are a powerful team. Their combined skills have produced a unique show of unrivalled quality and diversity. The game shows are customized to the size and nature of the audience, and are all performed with quality projections and an interactive real-time soundtrack and effects - it's just like the real thing! Our Aussie Idol concept is of course just glorified karaoke! But it provides a great vehicle for humour. And again is complete with projections and full musical accompaniments, creating a great atmosphere, and of course tying it in with the whole TV theme of the event.
IS IT VERSATILE?
Apart from being great entertainment, versatility and portability are two major keys to the success of this venture. Events are catered to the client's exact needs. Audiences from 20 to 200 are the general target range, although Bill and Paul have performed to smaller and larger numbers before. These activities are also easily adapted to be incorporated into a training / team-building program. So it's not just the "main event" that COME ON DOWN can be utilized. All the games are performed with individuals on stage, competing tables, or both.
IS IT PORTABLE?
COME ON DOWN is also an extremely portable unit. Our production / logistical requirements are fairly straight-forward. There is not a lot of gear to transport making it a very affordable entertainment option, particularly if travelling is involved - although certain larger functions might require an additional support member (sound engineer / technician).
AND IS IT AFFORDABLE?
Our core show revolves around two people. And given that Paul and Bill can co-ordinate and host an entire event, COME ON DOWN is an extremely affordable option. There are a range of options for the client to choose from, including additional games, customized training events, MC-ing, etc.
SO, WHO ARE THESE GUYS?
PAUL HOGAN (that's right, yet another Paul Hogan!) is an accomplished performer and actor in his own right, having hosted "Murder Mystery" shows, tought drama and theatre sports in schools, MC corporate and theatrical events, and run corporate team-building programs.
BILL MATHEWS is a professional musician and arranger with a background in teaching, management and training. Bill is the keyboardist / musical director with the legendary Captain Spalding Band which has performed countless corporate shows in Australia and across South East Asia. Bill also owns and operates inSEQUENCE, which provides music backing tracks to a variety of Australian artists.
